Thank you...
First, let me state for the record, that although I hold a chip on my
shoulder for the way this country treats disabled Americans, I am very
thankful for having the opportunity to live here. Ours is a great nation,
and I appreciate my freedom.
I am proud of and hold strong reverance to being a proud member
of the Beach Haven and Island community at large. Whenever I needed
anything, or had any problem, it has been this community by and large,
that has supported me.
I am thankful for being under the watchful eye of an excellent man
and neurologist, my friend, Dr. Robert Terranova. He is the man
that I owe my continued existence on this earth to. Bob, and I are
in constant communication, and look into every avenue to keeping me
here longer. Bob allows me the freedom to make medical decisions on
my own with his expert guidance.
Thanks out to Don Koppa and Bob Schmidt and the staff at the Surf City Pharmacy.
Some of the drugs I take are only available at 5 pharmacies in the United States,
because they need to be reduced and componded. These gentleman, not only
possess the knowledge to such great things, they care enough to do so.
I can't tell you enough how great this family owned pharmacy is.
Through the strength, knowledge and determination of Mayor Deborah Whitcraft's office, Deb has provided many a common sense approach to issues when there was no answer. I cannot thank her enough for her friendship, and her ability to get right to the heart of the matter. Ms. whitcraft's example of leadership defines why young women dream of being President, and solidifies why they should hold that office.
Dawne Thumbhart, from the Ocean County Board of Social Services, has been more than a true professional and friend. Her expertise in her field and knowledge of the system is insurmountable. Truly, these women restore a faith in government, when today we question priests and CEO's. They possess the ability to provide simple common sense solutions in a land devoted to and strangled by red tape.
Below are some links to articles and letters I have written to people in my local
community.
